I met Mr. Bob and Mrs. Angie when I was a young girl on Edisto. I have the fondest memories of biking with Angie all over the beach before it was discovered and much of it was still wooded lots. That was many years ago. She was such a dear person. I will always remember her kindness, and how much fun we had. She always talked about her family with so much love and pride. She was such a compassionate Christian lady.
And, then there was Mr. Hurst.... He was a true blessing to everyone he came into contact with, whether he was working or playing. I believe that he loved life and lived it to the fullest potential that God intended for us all to live. He was always joking. He had the best sense of humor. We used to have a little joke between us...back when he had rental equipment that he would take to different homes or condos for guests....it never failed, he said I always called him to deliver something, just as he had taken his shoes off. So, after a while when I called, I would ask "Are your shoes off?" He was such a sweet man. Though a devout Christian, he was never judgemental, and he was always a true witness and God's love did shine through him.
Even though, I did not see either of them often in the last few years, I thought of them often. I will always remember them and how they touched the lives of others. They were the kind of people you never forget. They will both be truly missed. Thank God for Heaven and the knowledge that through Jesus, one day I will see them again. God Bless YOu!

Helen and Jack,
I am saddened but joyful to hear of the homegoing of Mr. Robert. I am a truly blessed man to have known a strong christian man who truly loved Jesus with all his heart. I will miss Mr. Robert dearly but I know he is now where he wants to be which is home with his Lord. I am blessed to have known Miss Angie too. Both of your parents were wonderful people who lived their lives in the love of each other and of Christ. May God bless both of you and the family as you grieve your loss. He shall supply all your needs according to his riches and glory in Christ Jesus
