Roy Ray Obituary

Roy Wayne Ray, 58, of 3220 Purnell Road, died Thursday, June 5, 2008.
Funeral service will be held at 2 o'clock Sunday afternoon, June 8, 2008 in the Chapel of Bright Funeral Home with the Rev. Al Thomas officiating. Burial will follow in Woodland Baptist Church Cemetery.
Mr. Ray is survived by his mother, Melissa Bailey Ray; Frances and J. W. Hudson, Paul and Doris Bailey, Euva Mae Woods, Steven Wheeler, Freddie and Marie Woods, Daniel and Margie Woods, Lisa Bailey and Robin, Evan and Paul Colby; many special friends, including Everette Bailey, Earl Dillard, Vernon Lowery and Tommy Honeycutt.
He was preceded in death by his father, Leroy Ray.
The family would like to express sincere appreciation to the doctors and staff at UNC Hospital in Chapel Hill for their kind and compassionate care during Wayne's illness.
Flowers are welcome or memorial contributions may be made to Hospice of Wake County, 1300 St. Mary's Street, 4th Floor, Raleigh, NC 27605.
Friends may visit with the family from 6:00-9:00 p.m. Saturday evening at Bright Funeral Home & Cremation Center, 405 S. Main St., Wake Forest, NC 27587 (919)556- 5811.
