Sandra "Sandi" C. Weaver, 64, of Fuquay-Varina died peacefully at Rex Hospital in Raleigh on January 20, 2009 while surrounded by her loving family.
She is survived by her loving husband of 39 years, C. Henry Weaver Jr.; and by her adoring children, Tracy Clifton and her husband, Matt of Holly Springs, and Michael Weaver and his wife, Heather of Columbia, SC. She is also survived by her grandsons, Brayden Weaver and Carson Clifton.
Sandi was born in Trenton, NJ on August 12, 1944, daughter of the late Robert S. Mounce Jr. and Joyce E. Mounce.
She graduated from Virginia Tech in 1967 with a degree in English and worked in Salem and Richmond, Virginia before she and her husband moved to Cary in 1972 where they started their family.
Sandi loved reading, mastering crossword puzzles, taking trips with her family to the beach, and watching her grandsons laugh and play. She is and will forever be our loving wife, mother and grandmother, and her unwavering spirit and sense of humor will be deeply missed.

Michael, Tracy, Henry and all of Sandi's family: this is Nadette, your former neighbor on Amesbury Lane, Seba's mom, who is sending you loving and comforting thoughts upon Sandi's passing on. I do remember Sandi well and although we didn't visit each other that much, we knew there was a welcoming door to knock on if needed.

"He spake well who said that graves are the footprints of angels. "
~Henry Wadsworth Longfellow
With love to all,
nadette
