Steve Parham Obituary

Good night Sweet Prince. And flights of Angels sing to thee to thy rest"
Steve Parham "Pop-Pop", 61, of Mountville (PA) formerly of Raleigh, NC died Tuesday, September 16, 2008 two days shy of his 62nd birthday after a very long and courageous battle with Multiple Sclerosis.
Born in Raleigh, NC he was the son of the late Edna and Clarence Parham. He was the adored and loving husband of Arlene Wilson Parham with whom he would have celebrated 24 years of marriage on 11/23/08.
Steve was known for his quick wit and always made everyone around him laugh. He loved sports, particularly baseball and golf. He was a member of St. Leo the Great Catholic Church.
In addition to his wife, he is survived by a son, Gregory H. Parham husband of Tracey of Jacksonville FL; a daughter, Andrea T. Fischer wife of Dennis of Marietta, PA; a brother, Russell "Pete" Parham, husband of Sharon of Pinkerton OH. Steve adored and loved to brag about his grandsons, Gabriel, Zachary, Logan, Hayden, and due next month, Nathaniel, whom he named.
He was preceded in death by a grandson, Harrison.
Memorial contributions in Steve's name can be made to the National Multiple Sclerosis Society 2028 State St. East Petersburg, PA 17520.
Services will be private and at the convienience of the family.

I am sorry to hear about Steve passsing. We both played for the American Legion baseball team in Raleigh. We were runner up for the state title.
