Tavares Carroll Obituary
Raleigh
Tavares Carroll, 32, formerly of Gastonia, died July 14, 2014 at his home in Raleigh.
He was a native of Gaston County,the son of Billy and Mae Fewell Carroll and husband of Channing Newsome Carroll.
Funeral service 2:00 p.m. Saturday, Mt. Pisgah Baptist Church, 5504 Little Mountain Rd., Gastonia.
Visitation: 30 minutes before the service at the church, and other times at 4213 Heatherstone Dr., Gastonia. Interment: Armstrong Cemetery, Gastonia.
Arrangements: Gregory Funeral Service, Gastonia.

He is a beautiful and faithful person. I was always struck by his cheerfulness and kindness. I remember T telling me that he carried Kiki over the threshold of their new house with a bible in his hands. That memory has always stayed with me of a beautiful Christian man. I am sorry to learn and know that he is in His hands. May God comfort and protect his family. Prayers are being lifted for you.
