Thomas Joseph Beneck, 78, passed away Friday, August 25, 2017. He was born March 26, 1939 in Schuylkill County, PA to the late Thomas and Anna Beneck. He was a retired construction estimator with T & H Electrical in Wilson.
A memorial service will be held at 10:00 am, Saturday, September 9, 2017 at L. Harold Poole Funeral Service, 944 Old Knight Road, Knightdale, NC 27545 with military honors. The family will receive relatives and friends immediately following the service.
Surviving: wife of 58 years, Helene Rebecca Roberts; sons: Thomas D. Beneck (Kari), William A. Beneck (Mitzi), John J. Beneck (Stacey), Christopher J. Beneck (Kim); brothers: John Gruver, Bobby Gruver, Frank Gruver, Danny Gruver, Randy Gruver, Eddie Gruver; sister, Julie Gruver; grandchildren: Thomas, Sam, Jacob, Calvin, Emma; greatgrandchildren: Thomas and Molly.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his siblings: Jim Gruver and RuthAnne Harley.
