About
W. Bobo Obituary
He was born inLaurens, SC and was the son of the late Ida Glendera Crowe Bobo and Willie Norman Bobo. He was married to Annie Rogers Bobo who preceded him in death and was a veteran of the US Army serving in WWII.
Mr. Bobo received a BA in accounting from Furman University in 1949 and was assistant business manager of Southeastern Baptist Theological Seminary from 1958 until 1981. He served on the Laurens County School Board and was a former member of the Lucas Avenue Baptist Church where he served in manypositions. He was an active member of WAke Forest Baptist Church for many years where he served in numerous capacities.
Funeral services will be held at 10:30 Wednesday morning, January 24, 2001 at Wake Forest Baptist Church. Burial will follow at Pine Forest Memorial Gardens.
Mr. Bobo is survived by his daughters, Glenn Ann Hall of Clarkton, NC, Margaret Ruth Fober of Gary Court, SC and Willie Faye Bobo of Winston-Salem. He was preceded in death by his brother, James Carroll Bobo.
Memorial contributions may be made to Wake Forest Baptist Church Youth, 107 E. South Avenue, Wake Forest, NC 27587.
Friends may visit with the family from 7-8:30 Tuesday evening at Bright Funeral Home. (556-5811)
