My guy! Gone way too soon my brother. When I look back on military service I remember the times we had each other’s back bro. The long hours working at Camp Lejeune. The challenging times during Desert Storm we were able to keep it together. You kept me out of trouble that’s for sure. You were the best. You are the best! Miss ya bro!

Mrs Bertha,
Weldon and I both joined the Marines about the same time. I saw him
at Parris Island in April of 1982 nearing the end of recruit training during some pretty tough times. Seeing a face from home made all the difference in the world. We didn’t get to talk, but we saw each other and we both smiled. I will never forget that. Not to mention all the time we spent in your yard playing basketball as kids. You son will be greatly missed. May God open his arms to welcome him.
