Wendy Stephenson Obituary
March 21, 1967 - July 28, 2022
Raleigh, North Carolina - Beloved wife, daughter, sister and friend, Wendy G. Stephenson, died on July 28, 2022 aged 55 due to complications of a rare cancer. She is survived by her spouse Amedeo, mother Brenda, and brother Robert. Her father Robert preceded her in death. An honors graduate of South Johnston High School and the NCSU College of Engineering, Wendy had a successful career serving the electric co-ops of North Carolina.
A lover of cats and flowers, her keen analytical mind and sharp wits made her a fearsome competitor in cards and board games. Loyal, tenacious, and fiercely independent, her mantra was "Let me do it". She loved food, travel, fashion, time on the beach, two-seater cars and dancing to goth/industrial/new wave music. Her dry sense of humor delighted her friends and there was nothing better than making her laugh.
She will be remembered fondly in a service on August 13, 2022 at 2:00 PM at the NC State University Club in Raleigh. Flowers are welcome please send to 724 Nash Drive, Raleigh N.C. 27608 or, in lieu, please help support homeless pets by donating to Second Chance Pet Adoptions of Raleigh.

I wish I had gotten to know Wendy better when I was a volunteer at Second Chance. She always had a great heart which showed through with her beautiful and welcoming smile. I pray that the peace of God is with you all.

I met Wendy at Second Chance Pet Adoptions when I was a volunteer years ago. I just found out that Wendy passed away. My thoughts and prayers are with you all. I pray to God to give you all of God´s peace in your hearts and souls.
