William Dees Obituary

William Clarence "Bill" Dees, 67, died peacefully on Sunday evening at Wayne Memorial Hospital surrounded by his family.
Bill was born in Wayne County on June 9, 1940 to the late Challis Dumont Dees and Eleanor Janice Smith Dees. He served his country in the United States Army.
Bill was a longstanding resident of Goldsboro, and was a well known realtor, developer and builder in Wayne County. He was the founder of Century 21 Dees and Tyndall Realtors and is the owner of Cambridge Builders. Bill was member of Faith Free Will Baptist Church.
Funeral services will be 11:00 a.m. Wednesday at Seymour Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Dann Patrick officiating. Burial will follow in Wayne Memorial Park.
Bill is survived by his devoted wife of 14 years, Denise Sutton Dees; his daughters, Kelly Denny and husband, Matt of Victorville, CA, Tracy Vanderpool and husband, Bryan of Goldsboro, and Billie Pierce and husband, Mark of Atlanta, GA; his brothers, Grover Dees of Smithfield, Charles Dees of Pikeville and Jim Dees; his grandchildren, Jessica Vanderpool, Taylor Vanderpool, Zachary Deblase, Zeke Deblase, Lucas Denny, Christopher Pierce, Lauren Pierce, and Will Pierce.
Flowers are welcome or memorials may be made to Faith Free Will Baptist Church, 1200 W. Grantham Street, Goldsboro, NC 27534.
Pallbearers will be Billy Brock, Ricky Hill, Ken Jones, Frank Mitchell, Lester Whitaker and Morris Goodman.
The family will receive friends Tuesday from 6:00-8:00 p.m. at Seymour Funeral Home and other times at his home, 202 Ridgewood Drive, Goldsboro.
