Kenneth Keith Obituary

Kenneth R. Keith, 100 of Monroe, passed away on Sunday, September 16, 2001 in the Brian Center Rehabilitation Center in Monroe.
Mr. Keith was born July 29, 1901 in Moore County, North Carolina, and was the son of the late Hugh and Addie Keith. Mr. Keith was also preceded in death by his two brothers, Hugh and Gordon Keith. Mr. Keith was self-employed as a building contractor for the majority of his life. He will be greatly missed by his family and friends.
Mr.Keith is survived by his wife, Linda Keith of Monroe, NC; two sons, Kenneth R. Keith, Jr. and his wife Joan, of Monroe, NC and Charles D. Keith and his wife Deborah, of Yorktown, VA; five grandsons, Brian Keith and his wife Joany, and Bobby Keith, both of Monroe, NC, Travis Keith and his wife Jami, Dustin Keith and Corey Keith, all of Yorktown, VA; one great-granddaughter, Hiedia Norris, of Monroe, NC.
A graveside service will be held to celebrate the life of Mr. Keith on Saturday, September 22, 2001 at 2:00 PM in Southern Pines, at the Old Bethesda Cemetery, with the Rev. John Culbreth officiating.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be sent to the American Red Cross, in honor of Mr. Kenneth R. Keith, Sr., 608 E. Franklin, Monroe, NC 28112.
Arrangements are in the care of McEwen Funeral Home of Monroe, 204 S. Main St., Monroe, NC 28112.
