Linda: Michael sent me an email just today to let me know that Bill had passed away. So very sorry to hear this & my sincere condolences to you & family.
He was such a good neighbor for the years y'all lived next door. Have missed his friendly salutations when I'd see him outside.
Wishing you peace & wellness!
Love,
Carol (938 Albany Ct.)

David and I remember Bill from Raleigh Bachelor Club days. He was probably the best dancer in the group and always fun to be around. But this seemingly happy-go-lucky guy had also been a captain in the U.S. Marine Corps and was an able businessman and generous civic-minded leader whose loss will be greatly missed. Sincere condolences to his family.

Bill was a long time friend and my employer for the last ten years. We spent many days playing golf and gin rummy at North Ridge and had some great times on the pond at Atlantic Beach and at my place at Wild Dunes.
Bill truly had a gusto for life and will truly be missed by all who knew him.
