A funeral service will be held at 1 p.m. on Saturday, January 14, 2023, at the University United Methodist Church, 150 East Franklin Street, Chapel Hill. A reception at the church will follow. The service will be streamed at https://youtu.be/f4RlzIrsf8M. In lieu of flowers, the family would appreciate donations to the University which can be made through https://give.unc.edu/ which offers options for which area of the University to benefit. Donations to UNC may also be mailed to P.O. Box 309, Chapel Hill, NC 27514-0309.
