Anne Klueg Obituary

Anne C. Klueg, formerly of Sherman, CT, passed away peacefully in her home on August 3, 2022, surrounded by her family. She was born in Bronx, New York to the late Vincent and Ann Cassidy. Anne was a most beloved kindergarten teacher for 30 years until her retirement in 2002.
Anne was a wonderful wife, mother, grandmother, sister, aunt and friend. She was a well-loved member of her community and the First Congregational Church of New Milford, where she sang in the choir for over 20 years. Anne loved to travel, read, swim in Candlewood Lake, play bridge and spend time with her family.
Anne is survived by her husband of 44 years, John Klueg; children: Tracey and husband, Mark Kolb, Donna and husband, Steve Johnson, Tracey Marshall, John and wife, Judith Klueg; grandchildren: Taylor and husband, Noel Graydon, Michael and wife, Emily Johnson, Ryan Milgrim, Brittany and husband, Eric Utz, Molly Kolb and Jay Kolb; great-grandchildren, Graham and Wrenley Utz; and many nieces and nephews. Anne was predeceased by her sisters, Allene and Jane.
A Memorial Service will be held on October 1, 2022 at 11:30 AM at the First Congregational Church of New Milford, 36 Main Street, New Milford, CT.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations in Anne's name can be made to the Alzheimer's Association, 200 Executive Blvd S #4b, Southington, CT 06489.

Anne was such a beautiful lady, warm and caring to all! At Hill and Plain she would sing to students in the hallway even when waiting for buses. We took a trip one February holiday weekend to my condo in Florida, left in an ice storm, we saw Tom Cruise and Nicole Kidman filming a movie at the condo and took a ride to the fly-in community where John Travolta lived. She thought her John would like to live there!!! We did also enjoy the beach!
We had such fun! So thankful to have known her! God Bless You All

I am so very sorry for your family´s devastating loss. I had the honor and pleasure to know her first as my son´s teacher, and then,when I worked as a para in NES. She was so loved ! May her memory be eternal.

I have so many wonderful memories working with Anne. She loved her students and always gave her all. We shared many laughs together. I was lucky to have her as a partner.
