i loved Artie, like a Father, i lost mine in 1972, Artie he asked me to call him instead of Mr. Frattini, he said calling him Mr. made him feel old, he called me bobby just like my family here and in Canada called me, he used to bring home food for me and Artie Jr., he was one of the kindest people i have met in my life. He spoted me at Friendly´s in town and would actually pick up my tab without me knowing. When i asked about it , he would say must of been someone else. He gave without ever expecting anything in return. He always bragged about his 3 daughters and 2 sons. He had so much fatherly love when he spoke of his children. I was in Canada when he passed away and i was sad when I went to Ridgefield i bumped into his neighbor and he said Artie had passed, since the i read the newspaper. I missed one of my best friends funeral. when i visit my dad and recently my mom, i always go visit Artie´s resting place, i know he is in Heaven in the arms of the LORD

It was my pleasure and good fortune to cross paths with Artie. He taught me how to plant a vegetable garden, to putt, to look for the bright side...numerous lessons which I will always carry with me. My deepest condolences go out to the entire Frattini family and the countless others who are grieving. Artie was truly a spectacular man.

Our family is saddened with the news of Artie's passing. He was a regular at our laundromat for many years, and never failed to have a good word to offer. He'd often appear with Danny Whelan or Bill Frazee, and they'd all carry on. We'll never forget Artie, or the wonderful way he looked at life. Our heartfelt condolences to the Frattini family, and we hope they will remember that the separation will be short, and the reunion sweet...
