Barbara Bruckenthal Obituary
Cape Coral, Florida – Mrs. Barbara Jean (Kearns) Bruckenthal, age 80, formerly of New Fairfield, died Thursday December 27, 2017 at The Hope Hospice in Cape Coral, Florida.
Barbara is survived by her children: Monte Bruckenthal, Hindee Bruckenthal, Dan Wright, Joanann Shepard, Robert Wright, Judy Cain, Jim Wright and David Bruckenthal, 3 Siblings, 18 grandchildren, many great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
Barbara's family will receive relatives and friends at the Cornell Memorial Home, 247 White St., Danbury on Friday January 4, 2019 from 5 to 8 p.m. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Saturday January 5, 2019 at 10:30 a.m. at St. Edward Roman Catholic Church in New Fairfield. Family and friends are asked to please meet directly at the church. Burial will be in Mountain View Cemetery in New Fairfield.

Hey guys: I just heard the news of your mom's passing. I am so very sorry. I wish I had some magical words of comfort. While she loved each of you and appreciated your uniqueness, she also touched the hearts and lives of so many others as she traveled life's journey.
Her joy and laughter were contagious. That wonderful smile and the twinkle in her eye just brightened our world,and her acceptance and gift of friendship. Barbara was an absolutely amazing lady. My life has been so blessed to have shared a brief space and time with her. I thank God for her and I cherish the memories of time spent with Max, your mom and all of you.
