Beatriz Lascano Obituary
Beatriz Delia de Simone Lascano, devoted wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother and friend passed away peacefully on September 21, 2024, at the age of 81. She was the beloved wife of Oscar Lascano of Brookfield, Connecticut for 57 years. Mother of Maria O'Neil (husband Kevin) of Milton, MA, Silvana Buckley (husband Tadhg) of Quincy, MA, Christian Lascano (wife Mandy) of Naples, FL, and Federico Lascano (wife Christine) of Trumbull, CT. She is survived by her 10 loving grandchildren, Carolina, AnaCristina, and Patrick O'Neil; Nicole Buckley; Oscar, Sophia and Lauren Lascano; Brayden, Cameron, and Colton Lascano. In May of this year, she was blessed to become the great-grandmother of Mila Mae Tuite, who brought her much joy in her last few months. Born and raised in Cordoba, Argentina, Beatriz was the loving daughter of the late Rafael and Herminia de Simone and sister of the late Cristina, Rafael, and Raul de Simone. Aunt to Maximiliano de Simone, Rodrigo de Simone, Estefania de Simone, Danielle Rojas Alcorta, Gustavo Rojas Alcorta, and Cecilia Rojas Alcorta. Beatriz and Oscar came to New Haven, Connecticut, in 1969 to start their family in The United States. Beatriz was a hard-working mother raising 4 children and working at her husband's Family Medical Practice in New Fairfield, CT. Following retirement in 2007, she enjoyed traveling the world with her loving husband Oscar, playing golf and tennis, gardening, and spending time with her family and friends. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at St. Elizabeth's Church, 350 Reedsdale Rd, Milton, MA, on Saturday September 28th, at 10:00 a.m. Relatives and friends are invited to attend Visiting Hours at the church prior to the Mass from 9:00-10:00 a.m. In lieu of flowers, please consider a donation to the Multiple Myeloma Research Foundation, P.O. Dear Oscar, Maria, Karen, Chris, and Federico
Lata and I are deeply, deeply saddened by the news of Betty's passing.
For over forty years, from New Haven to Danbury, we kept close contacts and shared happy moments with them and the family, both at professional gatherings and many social events.
Betty was always very special to us, warm, graceful, charming and beautiful; a friend who elevated the spirits of everyone at all gatherings, every time.
So many years of seeing each other as couples or with friends makes it hard to pick any particular event to recall.
However, We especially cherish the memories of her and Oscar's twenty fifth Anniversary celebrations at our home in Danbury, and Karen's wedding in Ireland.
Since our move to the west coast we did not see them but we did speak to them a few times. Now, we see the photos and videos of them frequently and keep the memories fresh.
Sunjay and Raj join us in sending their condolences to you.
We will miss her for as long as our memories are intact.

I was saddened to read of the passing of Bea, she was a beautiful person inside and out, and was a dear friend of my late wife Christine (Ship Shape) and the kindness she always showed her. RIP dear Bea, and may fond memories keep her spirit with you always.
