It´s a very sad day today to learn about Bruce´s passing. He was such a good friend throughout all of our years in New Canaan from Center School right through to graduation in `64. I did see him a couple of times after that. I ran into him in the late 70s when I met his two sons. His youngest son Bruce, about nine years old, looked exactly like his dad. And he was a little tough guy just like his dad. I saw Bruce again at our 45th reunion in New Canaan. I hadn´t run into him yet that night but this lovely lady came up to me with her hand over her badge and said `hi Jack, do you remember me´. I had no idea who she was. I´m sure I looked a little embarrassed and should´ve known who she was. I apologized to her and said I didn´t know and I started looking around and I saw Bruce on the other side of the room laughing. That was the first time I met Patti. They just seemed like the happiest couple. It was nice to spend time with them that night. It´s very hard to lose close friends even when you haven´t seen them in a long time. My thoughts and prayers are with his family.

So sadden to hear this news. My deepest sympathy to Patti and the family. Bruce his brother and I all grew up together since we were toddlers. At our last class reunion that he and Patti attended we reminisced about the good times we had as kids thru high school. I reminded him of our High School days he was the pitcher and I the catcher. He has a wicked curve ball. But most of all Bruce was just a good friend with a big heart and warm smile.
