Charles Joseph Groski
January 8, 2021Charles J. Groski, formerly of New Milford, CT, passed away unexpectedly on January 8, 2021 in Deland, FL.
Charles was born in Bridgeport, CT, to Marjorie and William Groski, and moved to Brookfield, CT where he graduated high school in 1977.
After high school he worked for Automation Industries/ NES Division in Danbury, CT, where he met his wife Annette. In 1983 he started working with Kimberly-Clark Corp in New Milford, where he spent 35 years until his retirement in January 2019. When his boys were younger, he enjoyed coaching their soccer teams, and loved attending his sons' soccer and basketball games thru high school and college. Not to be left out, he supported Kristen in her many dance recitals as well, and always presented her with beautiful flower bouquets.
Charlie leaves behind his wife Annette, his daughter Kristen (Steven) Shinault of Deland, FL, son Alexander (Aimee) Groski of Bethany, CT, and son Joseph (Sciarra) Groski of Orlando, FL; two beautiful granddaughters, Sloane Elizabeth Shinault and Lylah Rae Groski; as well as his brothers, Richard (Susan) Groski of Brookfield, CT; Timothy (Denise) Groski of Danbury, CT; Philip (Jean) Groski of Brookfield, CT; and sisters Catherine (Robert) Rousseau of PA; Ruth (Kevin) O'Hare of New Milford; and Patricia Groski of Brookfield, CT, as well as many nieces, nephews and cousins.
