Christopher Glenn Critelli "CC", 33, passed away unexpectedly on September 8, 2021 at St. Mary's Hospital, Waterbury, CT after an extended illness. He was the beloved son of David (Karen) Critelli, Southbury, CT and Betty Hoffman, Danbury, CT.
Christopher was born September 25, 1987 in Danbury, CT. He later moved to Southbury, CT and attended Region 15 schools, graduating with the Pomperaug High School class of 2005. He worked for the U.S. Post Office in New Milford for several years before transferring to their Bradenton, Florida location in a supervisory role. He recently returned to the Woodbury area.
In addition to his parents, he leaves behind to cherish his memory, his siblings, Matthew Dee of Danbury, and Natalie and Jose' Critelli of Southbury, his paternal grandparents Fred and Carolyn Critelli of New Milford, and many aunts, uncles, and cousins. He also leaves behind his best friend Kim Guman and close friends Ernie Krajcik and Leslie Santoro as well as many other friends that were privileged to know him. He is predeceased by his maternal grandparents, John and Betty Hoffman.
Chris enjoyed many of life's simple pleasures: the sun and surf, particularly in Florida, lounging by the pool, taking road trips in his jeep, making home improvements and restoring furniture. He especially treasured his time with Kim's children, Liam and Sophie Guman. They will miss him dearly.
Funeral services will be private and there will be no calling hours. Burial will be at the convenience of the family.
