David C. McRoberts
David C. McRoberts, age, 69, of New Milford, CT, passed away on Monday, December 8, 2025. Dave was born on April 28, 1956, in New Milford, where he graduated from high school in 1974. Dave was employed by New Milford Hospital for 25 years, during which time he was the owner of Sink or Swim Pool Services. Dave also worked for Region 12 Schools before his retirement. He was a talented tennis player, a certified Professional Ski Instructor of America, an avid gardener, and an enthusiastic patron of the arts.
Dave was predeceased by his father, John McRoberts; and his wife of 24 years, Joanne McRoberts. He is survived by his mother, Jeanne McRoberts of Sherman, CT; his daughters, Jill Quinn and husband, Benjamin, of Meriden, CT, and Meridith Jackson and husband, Brian, of Newtown, CT; brother, John McRoberts and wife, Laurie, of Plainfield, NJ; three grandchildren, Penelope and Wally Jackson, and Connor Quinn; niece, Tessa Pearce and husband, Tom, and their three children, Lindsay, Kelly and husband, Ned, and Jonathan. Dave is also survived by his loving fiancée, Karen Petrok, of Waterbury, CT, and their adorable English Bulldog, Timothy.
Visitation is Sunday, December 14th, from 12pm-3pm, with a service to be held at Lillis Funeral Home, 58 Bridge St., New Milford, CT. Burial will be held at a later date.
