So sad to hear of the loss of this gentle soul. I had Denis as one of my religious teachers and Rosemary as my English teachers at Immaculate class of 72. I thank you both for your dedication to others. And being a part of who I am today. God hold you in the palm of His Hand.

Denis was my Godfather and first cousin, and whenever I think of him, I recall a picture that was taken over 50 years ago on the day I made my First Communion. It's just the two of us with him dressed in a long black gown and I in my First Communion outfit. He was standing beside me with his arm draped around my shoulder. It was a day that forever changed my life. I can still remember dreaming about growing up and marrying him some day. Such girlish dreams.
How fortunate I was to have such a God like person watching over me. Now I truly have him watching over me . . . forever, as he does each and every one of you who has touched his life.

Dear Bouffard Family, 01/06/17
So very saddened and shocked to hear. May the Holy Spirit , the Comforter, be there for you..Look for energetic signs, said to be sent by angels, the messengers,- lights that flicker, flowers from no where, Cardinals and unusual birds said to be sent by angels, electronics that do unusual energetic things, feathers in strange places said to be from angel's wings- all sent to say I am watching over you..The first 3 Chapters in "90 Minutes In Heaven" by Rev Don Piper- a bestseller, are so helpful. Thoughts and prayers are with you all.IHS memories and associations run deep..With Prayers and Heartfelt Sympathy, Karen L. Fischer-Perkins

DEAR Rosemary and Family,
From out of the area, we send our heartfelt condolences and prayers.
It is at times such as these that many would ask why?
However, knowing the strength of your faith and ours, we know that GOD has a reason and a purpose for calling our dear Denis home.
No family that we know, has given more and guided more people than the Bouffard Family!
May GOD keep your Faith, and courage strong to get through these very difficult days.
Please know we'll always be here for you.

Dear Denis, you taught me how to be a real theology teacher by the way you lived your life. Everyone, every day saw the Gospel in you. As St. Francis said " Preach the Gospel and if you have to, use words.". Your words were the icing on the cake for a well lived life. My prayers for your family and we will all meet again some day. I will miss you, my friend. I learned so much from you in the 5 years we stood side-by-side in choir. What it meant to live a life of patience, loyalty, devotion to God and family, self-sacrifice and giving of one's self for the greater good. The laughs we shared I will cherish forever. Take your place among the angels. Deepest sympathies to the Bouffard family.

Rosemary & family -
We were shocked to hear of Denis passing. He was always smiling when we saw him whether it be at church, the voting table, in passing and his kindness knew no boundaries. Always anxious to take on new adventures like taking French class at Immaculate long after he had retired. His love of teaching continued with his willingness to tutor a student that needed help. He saw the good in everyone and his laughter touched many. He will forever be remembered by all who had the pleasure of knowing him.
With deepest sympathy,
