Emil Skandera Obituary
Emil "Moe" Skandera, 95, of Danbury, CT passed away on Dec. 31, 2021 at Glen Hill in Danbury.
A lifelong Danbury resident, he was a proud Naval Veteran and longtime employee at Richter Park in Danbury.
He was predeceased by his siblings: John Skandera; Elizabeth Van Geons; Anne Curesky; Daniel Skandera, Jr.; and Michael Skandera.
Survivors include several nieces and nephews.
Funeral Services will be held at a later date.
Contributions in his memory may be made to St. Paul Lutheran Church, 44 Spring St., Danbury, CT 06810.

Moe was a volunteer fireman at the Independent Hose Company #4 in Danbury. We spent many evenings there playing cards and watching tv in the big reclining chairs, and let's not forget the Friday night runs to the Pizza Shop on Balmforth Ave. Moe was one of the best guys in the firehouse and taught the younger members a lot. Rest in Peace Brother!
