Frances Pesci Obituary
Frances M. Pesci, 98 years young, a resident of Pomperaug Woods, in Southbury, CT, passed away December 10, 2024, at Danbury Hospital after a brief illness.
Daughter of the late Michael and Mary Rocovich, she was born in Queens, New York on September 15, 1926. She was predeceased by her husband of 67 years, Russ Pesci and her brother, Donald Rocovich.
Fran (as she was known by many) was very creative. She loved making ceramics which were gifted to her close family members. She created and framed her crewel designs for all to see and enjoy. Her decoupage boxes, mirrors and frames filled her home and others.
She was very involved in the community of Garden City, New York, where she lived for over 20 years. Fran enjoyed challenging bridge games well into her 90's.
Frances is survived by her sons: Robert and Mark; and their spouses, Tinna and Melinda. She will be missed by her six grandchildren: Matthew, Theresa, Robert Jr, Christian, Matthew and Michael; and her six great-grandchildren, Walker, Hazel,Alyssa. Tyler, Cole and Ford.
A Memorial Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10:30 a.m. on Friday, Dec. 20, 2024 at St. Rose of Lima Church, Newtown, CT.

I hope you remember me Mark, I lived in the apartment building across the street from you in Jackson Heights. I currently live in Florida, but spend almost half the year in New Milford Ct. I remain in contact with Bart Larsen via email. So sorry for your loss.
