George Valzania, 90, of Bridgewater, CT, beloved husband of Barbara (Schneider) Valzania, died at Danbury Hospital on Thursday, June 5, 2025, the day he would have celebrated his 90th birthday.
He was born in Fano, Italy on June 5, 1935, son of the late Gino and Lena (Tarsi) Valzania. He was the father of two sons, Mark Valzania (Kim), and Brian Valzania (Lisa Donofrio) and grandfather to Tyler Valzania (Brenna) and Jami Valzania (fiance Jimi).
He was a graduate of Henry Abbott Technical School, where he studied carpentry. George was a Veteran of the United States Army, serving in Germany during peacetime. During his service he learned the printing trade and also worked as an interpreter.
George worked many years as a Lithographer for Danbury Printing & Litho and later worked for Morganti (also of Danbury). He did not fully retire until he was 75 years old.
Born Italian. Died American.
A private graveside service was held in St. Peter Cemetery, with full military honors.

George was always there with a smile for me and everyone. He loved Barbara, you could see it in his eyes. They were perfect together. Rest in peace, George. My sincere condolences to all the Valzania family.
