Gina Kim Mayer, 51, of Roxbury, CT, passed away on Monday, November 27, 2017 at Regional Hospice of Danbury, CT. She was the wife of Mercer Mayer.
Mrs. Mayer was born in Greenville, NC, June 12, 1966, daughter of Frank Skiles of Plymouth, NC and Carolyn (Davis) Chappell of Greenville, NC. She received a Master of Social Work degree from Fordham University and as a licensed clinical social worker operated Home Base Counseling Service in New Milford.
In addition to her husband of twenty-seven years and her parents, she is survived by three sons, Benjamin Mayer of Roxbury, CT and Zeb Mayer of Bridgewater, CT, and Arden Mayer of Southbury, CT, and granddaughter Autumn Mayer of Roxbury, CT. She is also survived by sister Amy Jo Skiles of Plymouth, NC, brother Benjamin Skiles and his wife Molly Hearn of Roxbury, CT, and stepbrother Eric Christensen; nieces Matilda Skiles and Justine McNair, and nephew Caleb McNair. She is also survived by her stepmother Kathy Skiles, and stepfather Ronald Chappell. She was predeceased by her stepdaughter, Jessie Mayer.
A memorial service will take place Thursday, November 30, 2017 at the Roxbury Congregational Church at 10:00 a.m. Interment will be private.
