Henry Ward Obituary
Henry Carlton Ward, Sr (1929-2025), formerly of Bells, TN and Pittsburgh, PA, passed away peacefully at the age of 96 at his residence in Danbury, CT on Saturday, November 15, 2025.
Henry (also known by his friends as Hank or Carlton) was preceded in death by his first wife Peggy Williams Ward, his second wife Martha Carol Ward, and his brothers and sisters James Ward, Bobby Joe Ward, Druscilla Scates and Aurelia "Amy" Foster. He is survived by his brothers Cary Ward and Wiley "Bubba" Ward, his son Henry Ward, Jr, his daughter in-law Sue Ward, and a long list of step children, grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces, nephews and friends.
Cornell Memorial Home in Danbury has been entrusted with his funeral arrangements. His remains will be returned to the family farm in Bells during a special remembrance service, at a date to be determined.
