I used to play tennis with Herb, and although he was about 70 years older than me, he'd beat me every single time. I'm not even kidding.
I was almost in tears reading this. He was such a great man and he will be missed. May he rest in peace. Z''l.

As you know, Herb was an important and much loved member of Temple Sholom in New Milford. He taught in our religious school for many years and was regular at services.

A true mensch and adored by the children at Temple Sholom who were fortunate to have studied Hebrew with him. The world has lost a lovely man.
