Jane was a wonderful person. Her love of life was always evident when she worked with children from elementary school to high school. She will certainly be missed!

We met in first grade. By middle school, when my parents said You are grounded I knew that they didn't mean from riding my bike or watching TV, I knew that I was grounded from hanging out with Jane! We had A LOT of fun together! Years later, when she told me that she was having twins she said Me!! I never even babysat!
One day we were sitting in her little house on Cherry street and her boys weren't yet two. One was on the floor chewing on some unidentifiable object and the other had climbed the curtains and was standing on the windowsill. I kept jumping up to save their lives. Finally, Jane said Sit! They are fine! And she was right. They were fine. They grew up to be two wonderful guys and, as far as I know, all their limbs are still attached. When Sarah was born Jane's world was complete. It was always My Sarah... Her precious baby girl.
Steve and her children put joy in her days and love in her laugh. .
We will all miss her forever.

I remember hanging around with Jane in the neighborhood and then attending Fairhaven High School together, graduating in 1980. Jane always had a great attitude and a fun laugh. She was a wonderful person. I want to extend my sympathy to the Kraver and Silveira Families. Take care.

Thinking of you all. Especially Michael, Daniel, Sarah. Your mom was simply the best of us all and I will miss running into her and "catching up". Such a fun, wonderful, big hearted person. You are all in my prayers. Thinking of Jane and paying it forward!

Please know that you are all in my prayers.
"Mrs. K" was the kindest, most welcoming person to me and my children. Standing with Jane at BHS games was so much fun, and her love for all was infectious!
The world has lost a great force for good - it will take all of us to replace her graciousness in our communities.

Jane, you now know the mystery of life. I always enjoyed seeing you at Berry School when you volunteered your time in the classroom. The two of us with our Boston Accent!!!!!! You always made me laugh! Such a wonderful mother you are, you were always so proud of your children and your family. Rest in peace Jane. May the Lord comfort your loved ones during this difficult time for all. Julie Corsak

I'm shocked and stricken to hear of Jane's death. Steve, you loved her so well, and she loved you so well. You both grabbed life and shook out its fun and beauty together, and taught your kids through your lively example. I send you strength and love to share with your whole beautiful family.
