John Calbo Obituary
John N. Calbo of Patterson, New York died Tuesday February 3, 2015 in Carmel, NY. He was 83. Mr. Calbo was born December 24, 1931 in New York, NY, son of the late Nicholas and Camille (Benefato) Calbo. On December 4, 1953 he married Anne F. Piscitelli at Immaculate Conception Church on Gun Hill Rd. in the Bronx. Mr. Calbo moved to Patterson in 1968 and became a member of Sacred Heart Church and worked as a contractor and also the building inspector for the Town of Patterson. Mr. Calbo is survived by his two daughters; Theresa Magann and her husband Terry of Danbury, CT, Patricia Colucci and her husband Buddy of Patterson, NY, one brother; Buddy Calbo and his wife Lenore of Harrison, NY, five grandchildren; Michael, Michelle, Matthew, Corey and Kyle and four great grandchildren; Brianna, Johnathan, Jackson and Kara. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Saturday February 7, 2015 at 1 PM at Sacred Heart Church, Patterson, NY. Interment following in St. Lawrence O'Toole Cemetery in Brewster, NY. Friends may call at Beecher Funeral Home, 1 Putnam Avenue, Brewster, on Friday from 4-8pm. In lieu of flowers, contributions in Mr. Calbo's memory may be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital. For on Line condolences please go to beecherfuneralhome.com

I'm truly saddened of hearing of the passing of John. My mother was in Burke rehab with him in December and they kept in touch ever since. He was an amazing man!! My heart goes out to his family!!!
