John Lombardo Obituary

John Carl Lombardo
John Carl Lombardo, 69, originally from Danbury, Connecticut, was called home to be with his Lord and Savior Jesus Christ on November 22, 2025. John's one true passion in this life was racing. From slot cars to go-karts to stock cars to drag cars. He bled racing fuel. He created a legacy with Ultimate Power Race Engines and had such a wonderful family that he built from all of his years on the track.
John was preceded in death by his parents, Edward and Hazel Lombardo, brother Edward Jr., and his big brother Allen "Big Al" Lombardo, who he looked up to in every way.
John is survived by the love of his life, Katrina, his children, Jennifer (Brian), Susan (Jason, who was more of a son rather than a son-in-law, John (Jacqui), Steven, Robbie (Madison), Zach (James), Korin, Mariyah, A.J., and a bonus son, Larry (Heather) O'Donnell.
John also leaves behind 13 grandchildren, 7 great-grandchildren, brothers Lewis (Krissy), and Jimmy, sister Barbara, sister-in-law Jamie (John) Bell, and several nieces and nephews.
A Celebration of Life will be held on December 7, 2025 at 12:00 p.m. at The Kings Harvest Banquet Hall in Terre Haute, Indiana. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Final Expenses Go Fund Me that was created by his children. Online condolences may be made at www.samaritanfunerals.com
