Louise Kaufmann Obituary
Louise Kaufmann (née Obermeyer), 97, passed away peacefully on December 29, 2025 in her home in New Milford, CT, with her children by her side.
Louise was born November 28, 1928 in Queens, NY, and graduated from Washington Irving High School in 1946. She married Arthur Kaufmann in 1953. They were married for 57 years until her beloved Artie's passing in 2011.
She was a loving and devoted wife, mother, and grandmother. She is survived by her children, Kathy and Bob, her daughter-in-law Lili, son-in-law Ed, grandchildren Timothy, Heather, and Stephen, and granddaughter-in-law Rachel.
Memorial donations in Louise's memory can be made to a veterans organization of the donor's choice in their local area.
Lillis Funeral Home of New Milford has care of Louise and her family.
