Mary Wilk Obituary
Palmyra, IN, Mary Ann (Cahoy) Wilk, age 95, entered into her eternal rest on January 07, 2022. She was born in Chicago, IL, on September 11, 1926 to Ignatz and Anna (Nemlaha) Cahoy, who were both Czechoslovakian immigrants. Mary Ann married Francis "Frank" Peter Wilk on December 26, 1956. She was a longtime resident of Danbury, CT. Mary Ann had previously lived in Arizona, New York, California, and finally Indiana. She worked as a dietician for several V.A. hospitals and was a loving mother and homemaker. Mary Ann enjoyed music, art, flower gardening, and was an avid reader. She was a devout Christian who had a great love for our Lord. Mary Ann was ready for her next adventure with Jesus!
She is preceded in death by her parents and husband.
Mary Ann is survived by her four children, Edward John Wilk of Pennsylvania, Theodore Francis (Marcia) Wilk of Florida, Carol Ann (Ray) Wilk Lutz of New York, Martin Andrew (Erin) Wilk of Indiana; three grandchildren, Anna Rae Lutz, Erin Teresa Wilk Almberg, Jonathan Francis Wilk; as well as one great-grandchild, Valentina Almberg.
Cremation was chosen with a memorial service to be announced later. Love Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements. Interment will be held in Connecticut at a later date.
