Michael Dannin Obituary
Michael J. Dannin, age 49, suddenly passed away September 13th, 2013 from unknown causes at this time. Michael attended Danbury Public School. He owned and operated a baby furniture store called Special Delivery in New Milford, CT and Newtown, CT. Recently Michael worked as a Case worker for the center for Human Development in Danbury. He was honored by Ability Beyond Disability for exceptional service in this area where Mayor Boughton presented him with a city honor. Michael is survived by his parents, Charlene Young Dannin and David Dannin, predeceased by his loving grandfather Samule Young and Grandmother Mary Young, and uncle Robert Young. His brother Victor Dannin, sister-in-law Sheri Dannin, of Tampa, Florida and sister Jennifer Dannin of Danbury, nieces Samantha and Jessica Dannin and great niece Eliana Kyprianou and dear friend Vikki Carelli. Contributions in Michaels honor can be made to New Heights, 66 West Street, Danbury, CT 06810 or Ability Beyond Disability, 4 Berkshire Blvd, Bethel CT 06801. The funeral will be held at 11:00 AM Tuesday September 17th, 2013 at the United Jewish Center, 141 Deer Hill Ave., Danbury CT and interment will be at United Jewish Center Cemetery, Grays Bridge RD, Brookfield, CT.

The memory of Mike always brings a smile. Hes been missed so much, especially by Vikki. Both Mike & Vikki left this life so suddenly, its not easy accepting their absence. Knowing they are reunited brings great comfort. Mike & Vikki will always be with us, their memory lives on in our hearts and we smile. ❤

Michael was an unassuming, compassionate, humble man. He had a witty dry sense of humor. He was definitely the straight man of the Vikki and Michael show. A prime time show I will truly miss. He was also a giving, nurturing man. When he volunteered at a soup kitchen he made sure everyone who left his station left with a smile. He loved a good meal. I can picture him savoring his meal in a slow deliberate manner yet somehow it would be gone in a flash.(Thanks Michael for turning me on to French fries extra crispy.)To his family and friends, I hope you can find wonderful memories such as these to help you through your time of grief.
