Patricia Brundage Obituary
Patricia F. Brundage, 71, of Ridgefield; passed away at Vassar Brothers Medical Center in Poughkeepsie, NY on October 13, 2014. Patricia was born on July 21, 1943 in Yonkers, NY; a daughter of the late Edwin and Frances (Krajeski) Farrington. A 35 year Ridgefield resident, Patricia was a member of St. Mary Parish of Ridgefield. She was employed as a florist with Richard's Flower Shop of Norwalk. In addition to her work with flowers, Patricia enjoyed sewing, painting and knitting. Patricia is survived by her 4 children; Matthew Brundage and his wife Cathleen of Ridgefield; Laureen Natalino and her husband Gino of Bethel; Barbara Brundage of Woodburn, NY and Tricia Mentnech and her husband Anthony of Woodburn, NY. Patricia is also survived by two sisters; Nancy Bauer of Enfield, CT and Kathleen Kaefer of Arizona. In addition to her children and sisters, Patricia is survived by 10 grandchildren and 6 great grandchildren. Patricia was predeceased by a son, Jay E. Brundage and his wife Christine. She was also predeceased by two grandsons; Zachary Brundage and Sean Dodge. The family will receive friends on Saturday, October 18, 2014 from 1 p.m. - 3 p.m. at Kane Funeral Home, 25 Catoonah Street, Ridgefield. A prayer service will be conducted at 2 p.m. in the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions to the Connecticut MS Society: 659 Tower Avenue - First Floor; Hartford, CT 06112 or the Ridgefield Fire Department: 6 Catoonah Street; Ridgefield, CT 06877 would be appreciated.

I was so sorry to hear that Pat has passed away. I met her at Dutchess Center when my mother was there in 2010-2012 and she was a great friend to her. We would visit and Pat always was interested in the latest events of our lives. I was happy to hear that she did not spend her final days at Dutchess and instead found a way to comfortably be okay to let go of her difficult last years. Thoughts and Prayers to her family.

My deepest sympathy to all. I will always cherish the wonderful Xmas day visits throughout the years while the Mehle and Brundage children were growing up.
Pat was a class act.
