Peggy Bishop Obituary
October 17, 1947 - September 9, 2021
Margaret-Mary "Peggy" (Vidal) Bishop joined her beloved late-husband Al in eternal rest on September 9, 2021, following a brief illness.
She was born in Danbury, CT to the late Joseph and Margaret (Borses) Vidal, attended Danbury schools and graduated from Danbury High School.
Peggy married her life-long partner and best friend Alfred Eugene, and remained happily married for 51 years. She is survived by her daughter Cynthia (Erik), her son Brian (Michele) and her grandchildren Erik, Jacob, Matthew, Isaac, Bethany, Isabel, Marlee and Alia.
A long time employee and manager at Pathmark, Peg was a smiling face at the store. After her retirement she moved to Mocksville, NC where she enjoyed her pets (aka"fur-babies"), nature, and visiting friends and spending time with the grandkids.
After the passing of her beloved Al in 2018 Peggy returned to Connecticut and enjoyed life in Heritage Village. She loved cooking and baking, always making sure to include everyone. Her genorosity was known to be without bounds.
A private service of remembrance was held by her family. In lieu of flowers, donations are encouraged to the Southbury Food Bank.

Cindy and Brian.
I am so sorry for the loss of your parents
So many fond memories of them both, as well as your grandmother. Loved sitting in the back yard and listening to your dad tell stories. I remember the ants in the Cereal bowl story. :) I wish you all well during these hard times. you are in my thoughts.

Cindy, Brian and family,
We are very sorry for your loss. Aunt Maggie to us was a blessing in our lives from a lifelong friendship she had with Aunt Boot to you. Spending time at the Bishop's home on Halloween, playing old maid, backyard barbeques with drinking yoohoos, swimming and playing wiffe ball are some of the best memories of my childhood. Aunt Maggie and Uncle Al were always very welcoming, caring and will be forever in our hearts.

So sorry about Peggy's passing - I remember her as we were classmates in high school and worked together at Pathmark. She was a lovely classmate friend. God Bless her and may happy memories bring peace to your minds and hearts.
