Peter Randall Serniak, 76, passed away on Sunday Feb. 15, 2026. He was the husband of Judith Johanson Serniak. Calling Hours will be held Friday Feb. 20, 2026 from 10:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. at Munson Lovetere Funeral Home, 235 Main Street North, Southbury. Burial will be immediately following at New North Cemetery, 87 Washington Ave., Woodbury. jude, there are no words. i was so lucky it was fated that pete came into my life when he did. being able to pick up where you left off, regardless of the time interval, is a sign of friendship. sharing a friendship like that is a blessing. i can just imagine pete's spirit, walking to the stars at a hundred miles an hour, hundred pound briefcase swinging by his side and w.c fields hanging on to his coat tails. 'til next time, pete, gonna miss you.

Pete was a kind and caring man. He taught me alot while I was working in the graduate admissions office. It is sad to see him leave us at such a younger age. May he rest in peace... Condolences to his family as well....

Pete Serniak was a great guy! I am saddened to hear that he has passed, especially at such a young age. I worked in the administration office and he taught me a great deal... May he rest in peace...
