Raymond Nobes Obituary

Raymond "Tim" Nobes
Raymond T. Nobes, Tim, died peacefully in his home surrounded by his loving family on June 22, 2022, after a valiant two-year battle against pancreatic cancer. He was 57 years old.
Born on May 4, 1965 in Stamford, CT, son of the late Raymond F. and Jane (Mahoney) Nobes. He graduated from Danbury High School in 1983. Tim honorably served in the U.S Army. Tim was married to the love of his life, Linda, for 14 years.
Tim was a proud member of the Ridgefield Fire Department for 20 years before retiring in 2021, as well as an on-staff paramedic for the Brookfield Volunteer Fire Department for nearly two decades. Tim was genuinely dedicated to his career as a paramedic and firefighter. He loved to help others and was considered a mentor to many; whenever you needed help, Tim was always there. Tim was an avid bird watcher turned photographer.
Tim is survived by his loving wife, Linda; his children, Eilish Nobes, Allie Clement (Kyle), Danny Clement, and Kara Clement; his siblings, Jane Brennan (Ed), Beth O'Brien, Sharon Von Gal (Tim), Susan Penn (Jeff), his brother-in-law, Jim Boyle; and many nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his sister, Barbara Boyle.
A celebration of life gathering will be held on Sunday, July 10th at Danbury Memorial Funeral Home (117 South Street, Danbury) from 1-4 pm.
In lieu of flowers, please consider making a donation in Tim's honor to the Wounded Warrior Project or the Danbury Animal Welfare Society.
