Rose Carrington Obituary
Rose Bostic-Carrington, former long-time resident of Brookfield, CT, quietly departed this life on May 5, 2017. Rose was born on June 20, 1936, in Garnett, SC, to the late Susan Elizabeth and Fred Bostic.
Rose is predeceased by her parents, her husband Richard W. Carrington; her siblings, Louise G. Poindexter of Stamford, CT, Clarence "CL" Bostic, of Denmark, SC, Freddie Bostic of Hartford, CT, and Joyce Bostic of Stamford, CT.
Rose is survived by her children, Kevin Carrington of Bridgeport, CT, and Kathy Carrington of Nathalie, VA; her sister, Carolyn Best, of Stamford, CT.
A wake will be held on Friday, May 12, 2017 from 6:00 p.m. – 8:00 p.m. at Bethel AME Church, 150 Fairfield Avenue Stamford, CT 06902. Funeral Services will take place Saturday, May 13, 2017 at 11:00 a.m., Reverend Robert Jackson officiating. Interment will take place at Woodland Cemetery, 66 Woodland Place; Stamford CT. Arrangements are entrusted to Baker-Isaac Funeral Services, 985 Stratford Avenue, Bridgeport, CT 06607.
