Sandra Dibble Obituary

Sandra M. Dibble
Sandra Margaret Dibble of Bethel, passed away at the age of 46 on Feb. 27, 2018 after a short illness. She was surrounded by her loving family. Born in Danbury, Connecticut on December 2, 1971, she attended Bethel schools and was a past member of the Grassy Plain Drum Corps. She loved animals, especially her rescue dog Brownie and her cat Dexter.
Sandra was also a lover of plants and flowers, Sandra spent a lot of time with her mother, Ruthie, tending to their beautiful garden. In recent years, Sandra cared for Ruthie in her times of need. Most recently, she enjoyed working at Big Y in Bethel where she made many friends. She is survived by her mother, Ruth M. Dibble; her brother Robert and his wife Karen; her sisters Lisa and Linda and her husband Chris. She especially loved her niece Sarah and nephew Cooper. She is also survived by several aunts, uncles and cousins. She was predeceased by her father Robert V Dibble., who she will now join in heaven.
When Sandra was born, her brother Bobby was given the honor of naming her while we all waited at our grandparents' house for her arrival. We will always remember her as the cutest little girl with long, red, curly hair and a big smile on her face. Sandra was very special to all of us, she had a beautiful soul and a kind heart and will be sorely missed.
The family will receive friends on Sunday, Mar 4th in the Bethel Funeral Home, 215 Greenwood Ave., Bethel, from 3 until 6 p.m. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated in Saint Mary, Bethel, Monday, Mar 5th at 10 a.m. Burial will follow in Saint Rose Cemetery, Newtown.
In lieu of flowers, memorial may be made to the Danbury Animal Welfare at daws.org.
