Shirley is an inspiration to all women. A true survivor, an amazing vitality for life, a contagious laugh, and someone you can always turn to for advice. In recent weeks I had the privilege of having Shirley a part of my life and maybe one day we'll meet again. God bless Shirley and her family.

Dear Caroline, Kathleen and Kelly; and sister Patty,
No words can describe the sadness in my heart for losing a great and beloved friend. Shirley will remain in my heart as she truly has touched my life. I will always love her and keep her in my prayers. May God bless us all.

Words have not been coined to express my feeling of loss at this time. As your passing now serves to grieve us, let us remember the one who stands there to receive us. God's great promise is that we can all meet again on that beautiful shore. Shirley will be there in all her radiant beauty.
Until then my friend,
Elaine and Peter Arrison

To Shirley's Family -- A note to express our deepest sympathy for her loss. Her family and her friends were the most important part of her life. A part of her will always remain with each of us who knew and loved her. We are truly honored to have shared this friendship.

Our prayers are with the family, especially Shirley's "three girls." Rather than dwell on her light being extinguished from this world, it's comforting to know that she lives on in each of you. Shirley was a very dear friend. We shared many health history scenarios, and she was always there to guide and encourage. We were part of a wonderful "sisterhood" of friends, and each one of us has many treasured memories of Shirley that we will always carry in our minds and hearts.

My prayers are with your family. I worked with Shirley at First Brands for many years and she was a lovely person. I myself am a 3-year breast cancer survivor.
