I knew Walter thru his appearances daily at Ridgefield Dog Park....he n his little sometimes obedient little puff ball dog Sofia.tooled around the dog. Park in all weathers....i.loved his stories.about WW2 n it's painful cost to him.n.his family. Walter covered a lot.of ground n time in this life and he always had another story to tell

Walter was a very much beloved person at the Ridgefield dog park he always had a smile on his face and a joke to tell he had great historical perspective from his growing up in Germany and going through world war II he had sympathy for everybody and a good word for everybody and was just a great guy and we will miss him terribly.
