Beverly A. Wehrli, 89, recently of Naperville passed quietly in her sleep on September 10, 2025 at Tabor Hills senior campus. She was an energetic teacher at Oak Park and River Forest High Schools.
Bev was the beloved second wife of Robert J. Wehrli whom she married in 1962. Introduced to a large extended family Bev lead exciting theatricals and was an inspiration for her loving care of her husband and self.
Bev was born October 10, 1935 in LaSalle to Ray and Sophie (Bawiec) Morrison. She is survived by special family members Kelly, Jessica, B.J. and Nicole, in-laws Carol (Wehrli) & Jerry Doll and Ann (Wehrli) Jansen, dozens of shirt-tail nieces and nephews, especially Win and Deborah Wehrli, and a cousin, Carlene Ator.
Mass of Christian burial will be 11 a.m. Thursday October 23, 2025 in Holy Family Church, Oglesby. Rev. Paul Carlson will officiate. Burial will be in St. Vincent's Cemetery, LaSalle. To honor her memory please take a friend to lunch.
Shields Funeral Chapel, Oglesby is in charge of arrangements.
