Charles "Charlie" Moore
Born: June 26, 1951 in Fairmont, WV.
Died: March 20, 2024 in Rockford, IL.
Charles "Charlie" Eugene Moore 72 of LaMoille, and formally of Mannington, WV. passed away peacefully with his family at his side on March 20th at OSF St. Anthony Medical Center in Rockford. Per his wishes cremation rites have been accorded, and there will be no services. The Burgess Funeral Home in LaSalle is assisting the family.
Charlie was born on June 26, 1951 in Fairmont WV. to Francis and Sarah (Brummage) Moore.
He married the love of his life and best friend Vickie Cottrell on December 8th, 1972 in the State of Maryland.
He was employed by Alasky's Furniture Store in Farmington WV. for several years as a sales representative.
He enjoyed the outdoors. You could see him walking around LaMoille with his dog (Noel). He enjoying doing woodwork and tinkering in all types of projects. He cherished being around family and friends.
He is survived by: his wife of fifty one years.
One daughter: Sherri (Greg Smith) Moore of LaMoille.
One son: Christopher (Johnna) Moore of Mannington, WV.
Nine grandchildren, and one great-granddaughter.
One brother: Leo (Alice) Moore and One sister: Georgia (Sam) Alloi, both of WV.
Several nieces and nephews. His trusty companion; "Noel" his four legged friend.
He is preceded in death by: his parents, and one brother; Kenneth Moore.
