Edmond F. Morel, age 89, of Milwaukee, WI passed away Monday, November 24, 2025 at St. Anne's Nursing Home. He was born July 27, 1936, in Sheridan, IL. Edmond was preceded in death by his wife Sharon, his parents Fred and Helen, his brother
Richard and sisters-in-law Kathy and Meg Morel and brother-in-law Jim LaMar. He graduated from Sandwich High School and Bradley University in Peoria, IL. He married his
wife Sharon Sutton on October 28, 1956 in Earville, IL. He was the owner of Dwyer and
Anderson Jewelers in Rockford, IL for many years. He was also great at DIY projects and was happy to help many family and friends.
Ed is survived by his daughters Julie (Jeffrey) Babcock and Joan (David) Ross both of Wauwatosa, WI, sisters Roberta (James) Satterlee of Rochelle and Laurine LaMar of Tuscon, AZ, brothers James (Lynne) of DeKalb and Gerald of Western Springs, IL, grandchildren Jason and Megan Babcock, April (Don) Anthos, Rachel, Deanna, and Steven Ross, great grandchild Wally Anthos, and brother-in-law Richard (Colette) Sutton. He leaves behind many other family members and friends.
Funeral service will be held 11:00AM Tuesday December 2nd at Immanuel Lutheran Church, Compton, IL. Visitation will be held at 10:00-11:00AM at the church prior to the service.
