Frank "Hank" Senica, 86, of La Salle, passed away March 17, 2022 at Adventist Hinsdale Hospital.
Mass of Christian burial will be 11:00 AM Thursday at St. Patrick's Church in La Salle with Rev. Thomas Otto officiating. Visitation will be in the church from 9:00 AM until time of services. Private burial will be at a later date in St. Patrick's Cemetery in Minonk. The Hurst Funeral Home in La Salle is assisting the family with arrangements.
Hank was born in La Salle on September 28, 1935 to Frank and Anna (Forstner) Senica. He married Janet Liner. On November 30, they were married forty-one years. Hank was employed at American Nickeloid in Peru for fifty-one years as the payroll manager.
Hank was past president and current board member of ANCO Community Credit Union. He serves currently on the La Salle Elementary School District for over 33 years. He was an avid saxophone player and played in several local bands. He was a member of the Musicians' Union. Hank loved his work. He enjoyed his Thursday nights out with his friends.
Hank is survived by his wife Jan; six children Jamie (Todd) Hancock, Janae Senica, James Waytenick, Joshua Waytenick, Linda (Tom) Porter, and Kathy (Jon) Arundale; six grandchildren; one great grandson; one brother Dr. William (Linda) Senica; sister-in-law Mary Ann Liner; brother-in-law James M. Liner; and several nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents and two brothers Paul and Edmund Senica.
