Geraldine Ferrari, 90 of Oglesby died at 6:10 a.m. November 3, 2023 in Manor Court of Peru.
Mass of Christian burial will be 11 a.m. Monday in Holy Family Church, Oglesby. Rev. Paul Carlson will officiate. Burial will be in St. Vincent's Cemetery, LaSalle.
Visitation will be 10-11 a.m. Monday in the church. Shields Funeral Chapel, Oglesby is in charge of arrangements.
Gerry was born August 1, 1933 in Cedar Point to Thomas and Louise (Vezetti) Ricca. She married John "Jack" Ferrari September 27, 1952 in St. Mary's Church, Cedar Point.
Gerry worked briefly at Westclox before starting her family. She was a member of Holy Family Church, Holy Family School Mother's Club and Oglesby Junior Women's Club. She loved playing cards, especially bridge.
She is survived by her husband Jack of LaSalle, 2 sons; Gary Ferrari of LaSalle and Thomas (Michele) Ferrari of Scottsdale, AZ, a dozen nieces and nephews and numerous great nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by 3 sisters; Carol Sydlowski, Margaret Finnegan and Marie Wassil.
