Jordan Foster Obituary

Jordan Foster
Born: July 28, 1991
Died: October 24, 2021
Jordan Foster, 30, of Spring Valley, passed away unexpectedly on Sunday, October 24, 2021 in Peru, due to an automobile accident.
A visitation for Jordan will be held on Sunday, October 31st, from 11:00 AM until 3:00 PM at the Barto Funeral Home in Spring Valley, with a brief funeral service beginning at 3:00 PM. Cremation will be accorded following the services. It is kindly suggested that everyone attending should please wear a mask.
Jordan was born in Peru on July 28, 1991 to Gene and Sher (Lucas) Foster. He graduated from Hall High School, attended I.V.C.C., and was currently working at Marmon-Keystone in Spring Valley.
Anyone who knew Jordan knew he was a family man. Even though he had four brothers, his cousins were just as close to his heart, spending countless hours at their grandparents making memories they will never forget. Along with his family, he would do anything for his friends. His nieces and nephews knew him as "Uncle Jordy", the uncle who always tossed them up in the air, wrestled with them, made them laugh, and he loved them with all his heart.
Jordan was an avid St. Louis Cardinals, Tennessee Titans, Ohio State, and Duke Blue Devils fan, as well as WWE wrestling. He loved all sports, whether it was playing them or watching them in the garage with his brothers and dad. He was a dedicated son, brother, brother-in-law, cousin, uncle, nephew, and friend, but most of all, a father who thought the world of his children, John and Mercy Belle.
He was the youngest of five boys, the baby of the family, who loved his parents and brothers whole heartedly. He was extremely close to his parents and appreciated everything they did for him. This shaped him into being the most caring and loving person he was. Even being the youngest brother, he always knew his brothers would be there for him, and he would do anything for his family. Most importantly, he was a devoted father to his two children, "Johnny Boy and Bellers". He was always their number one fan from coaching their sporting events to making sure he never missed one. He was a perfect makeup model for his daughter and was a wrestling tag team duo with his son. His children, as he put it, "my little blessings" and he loved them unconditionally.
Jordan is survived by his son and daughter, John and Mercy Belle, of Cherry; his parents, Gene and Sher Foster, of Spring Valley; his brothers, Gene (Sam) Foster of Peru, Brad (Carolyn) Foster of Spring Valley, Lucas (Lindsey) Foster of Spring Valley, and Dustin Foster of Spring Valley; his nieces and nephews, Bryce, Brynn, Evelyn, Payne, Beckham, Trudessa, Cooper, Ashlynn, and Cameron; his aunts and uncles, Cindy and Mark Johnson, Sandy Lucas, Kathy and Marc Lewis, Bob and Susan Lucas, Jennifer and Doug Jablonski, Russ and Karen Foster, Jan Foster, and Jason Foster; and his 21 cousins.
He was preceded in death by his maternal grandparents, Robert and Dolores Lucas; his paternal grandparents, Jan Foster and Glenna Foster; and his cousins, Cara Jablonski and Blaine Foster.
Serving as honorary pallbearers will be Gene, Brad, Lucas, and Dustin Foster; Bob, Marcus, and Erik Lewis; Nick DiFiore; Sam and Gabe Lucas; Jack and Jimmie Jablonski; Dylon, Billy, and Zack Terry; Bradlee Harris; David, Devan, and Hunter Foster; Jordan Petersen; and Connor Maltas.
In lieu of flowers, please consider a memorial donation to the family for a fund to be established for Jordan's children.
