Joshua J. Hungerford, 44, of Ladd, passed away on Monday, April 7, 2025 following a three year battle with cancer. Honoring his wishes, no services will be held. Cremation rights were accorded.
Joshua was born in Spring Valley on April 4, 1981 to Arthur Bernard and Cynthia Jane (Morris) Hungerford.
Joshua received an Associate in Applied Science (AAS) degree in Accounting from Illinois Valley Community College. He worked for Eakas for the last ten years as a mold technician.
Joshua is survived by his parents, Art and Cindy Hungerford, of Spring Valley; his fiancée, Stacy Steele, of Ladd; his children, Haylie and Aiden Steele of Ladd and Alyssa Torchia of Peru; his brothers, Keith (Cori) Hungerford of Mendota, and Justin (Caitlin) Hungerford of Peru.
Joshua and Stacy were together 15 years and he helped raise her children. He was a great son, and all around wonderful man with a very kind, loving, gentle soul. He will be missed dearly.
