Lyle A. Kirkman, 48, of Ladd, passed away on Monday, December 25, 2023, in OSF St. Francis Medical Center, Peoria.
Private services will be held at a later date. Arrangements are through the Fiocchi Funeral Home, Cherry. Private online condolences may be left for his family at www.FiocchiFuneralHomes.com
Lyle was born on December 1, 1975, in Spring Valley, to Larry and Linda (Guglielmetti) Kirkman. He worked the family farm and trucking business for many years.
He is survived by: his mother and father, Linda and Larry Kirkman of Ladd; his son, Paulito, at home; 4 siblings, Larry (Becky) Kirkman of Ladd, Lynn Cissell of Princeton, Lori (Dave) Lane of Peru, and Lee Kirkman of Ladd.
He was preceded in death by: his sister, Lisa, in infancy; and his brother-in-law, Jack Cissell.

So sorry for your loss to the ones who loved Lyle and his family.Lots of love being sent to those who will miss him. Lyle was such a amazing wonderful guy who gave his all to his community and went far more above and beyond he went skys to the limit on everything he did, wether he was working on the family farm, in his office at the shop, or helping out in the community Lyle was always there for his community. His commitment to the family and farm was second to none. He will be missed by me ! He wasn't in my life that long but long enough to leave a lifelong lasting impact. I am fortunate enough to have known him and been surrounded by him and his ultimate kindness and his heart of gold . I will miss him. So sorry for your loss Kirkman family.

Lyle fostered a first grade student in my class when I worked at Ladd Grade School. I have fond memories of this student and I remember talking many times with Lyle about our concerns and goals for this student. Right around the time that I switched schools, he also became a school board member. I am so sorry to hear about his passing. His family is in my thoughts.
